Notes
Aero Star (also spelled Aerostar) is a high flyer, now leader of Real Fuerza Aérea AAA. Aero Star is distinguishable by his aviator like mask and his suicidal maneuvers. He's the inventor of the step up tope con giro, popularized by Mascara Dorada as the Brillo Dorada. He's equally famous for his no hands tope (La Dormilona) and a modified springboard reverse tope, almost a reverse cannibal dive.
After training with Abismo Negro for 5 years, Aero Star debuted after the death of Antonio Pena and was promoted as Pena's final creation. His costume was designed by Antonio Pena, Fernando Fuentes and his own dad. His favorite luchadors growing up were Atlantis and Rey Misterio Jr.. Aerostar was introduced as a member of Real Fuerza Aérea AAA and has remained with a connection to the group despite most other members leaving (and the concept not being presented with any coherency.) As of 2014, he's leader of the group. Aerostar spent most of the 2010s in an off and on feud with Super Fly over the Fuerza Aerea, before finally defeating him for his mask in 2014.
Aerostar was added to Lucha Underground about about a third of the way into the first season, where his most notable arc was a best of five match series with Drago. The end of the season revealed Aerostar may actually be some sort of rocket power alien. He was revealed to also have time travel ability in Season 2. Aerostar's Lucha Underground appearances led him into breaking in to US indie promotions, including winning CHIKARA's 2015 King of Trios with Drago & Fenix.
One gimmick he played before he became Aerostar was one of the Chivas Rayadas (soccer goats). That gimmick is often passed from wrestler to wrestler so it is difficult to specifically say when he began playing the role and when he stopped. However the following list of shows that were taped for television definitely had Aero Star under the Chiva Rayada II gimmick:
