Mexicali based luchador since at least early 1990s. Early on his career went under the name of the Charger with the permission of the original Charger. In his first match in Mexicali lost agaisnt Angel Diablo. One year later, he decided to look for a new name, because he felt the Charger persona too heavy. Due to his physical size (he weighted above 130 kg at the time), fellow wrestlers told him he looked like Kokina and Nikozuna. He repackaged as Rey Kimbo.
