Reina Maya was born in Mexico City, she grew up in Tijuana. Second-generation wrestler, her father is La Sombra USA. Trained for three years with Furia Oriental, then few months with Tornado Negro, one year with Kamaleon Negro. Seen in Tijuana and Los Angeles area. She is a ruda and her ring name was inspired by her fondness in the Mayan culture.
