His professional wrestling career began in 1976 in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora under his nicknames "Pato" Hernandez and that name did not work. Later on he adopted the name of '''Pluma Blanca''' he wrestled under that name for about 8 matches and it seemed to work. Septiembre Negro and Carlos Plata missed and the match went to a hand to hand with Negro Casas which turned in a memorable match. He used to team up with his father and brothers making events with full attendances.

During early 90s he was part of of this trio of técnicos along with Humilde & El Musical. The gears of this trio were unique, their masks, thights, shirts had patches which symbolized the humbleness of their characters.
