Current Champion
![]() Angel Blanco Jr., 33rd Champion |
Angel Blanco Jr. is the current champion. This is his first reign. The championship is independent and not bound to any promotion. Blanco won the championship from perennial champion (and likely owner of the physical belt) El Hijo del Santo on December 15, 2011.
![]() Hijo de Rey Misterio, 33rd Champion |
The second Hijo de Rey Misterio also holds a claim on this belt. He won it as part of a four man title tournament at the relaunch show for the WWA promotion.
