Monterrey based luchador. In 2005 he began his training with Centurión Negro for three years then with Pequeño Diamante, Mr. Lince, Maravilla Azteca and Bello Califa. In his early days as a luchador he used to have his hair long and had a rebellious attitude. Some people told him to go as Maníaco, but there was someone else as Maniaco already. His maestro told him to go as El Maniático instead. He used the Maniático persona for a short time. One day a fellow luchador drew him a mask design and gave him a new name Rodak which he used for a long time. His debut was in 2006 in a tag team match with Ben Hur against Maldito and Granadero. He decided to change his name once more since his name was Japanese, the mask was improvised, and the name had nothing to do with the mask. With help from his wife, they looked for a new gimmick which would relate more to his mask and name. They researched a list of demons and they found the name of Samael. Even with the name's origin he is a tecnico.
