Palacio de los Deportes Torneo De La Muerte, 1977

A one night losers-advance tournament in Palacio de los Deportes, held on June 19, 1977. All wrestlers in the tournament put their masks on the line. The event was known as "16 Mascaras al Infierno".

A battle royal was held to determine both the teams and the seeding for the tournament.

Canek was advertised for the tournament, but was marked as injured in a magazine and was instead put into a singles match with Dr. Wagner. Dos Caras was also advertised, but was marked as injured and did not compete.
