Lucha Libre Unida is a Monterrey-based professional wrestling promotion managed by Guillermo Gómez. LLU was founded in 2006 when Gomez left Lucha Unida de Monterrey (LUM) after a breakout with Gabriel Martínez.

Guillermo Gómez, alongside Lucha Libre journalists Andrés Pérez Sustaita and Fernando Cavazos, have been promoting books, documentaries, encyclopedias, magazines, and much other lucha libre historical and biographical material in Monterrey, Saltillo, and sometimes in Mexico City. Lucha Libre Unida held conferences to talk about lucha libre as a discipline, with local legends present in the moment to answer assistants' questions and doubts.
