Profile

Sonora based luchador since at least 1977. He liked lucha libre since he eas a child and he always found a way to watch lucha libre events his fondness for this made him want to train to become a luchador. At the age of 18 he met his trainer Al Sevilla and he also trained with Pepe Mendieta. He made his debut with Al Sevilla in a tag team match under the name of Dr. Acosta. He eventually changed his identity for el Galán which made him gain the crowd's symphaty. He lost his mask against El Halcon Blanco; but despite of his mask loss it did not hurt his career. He protagonized epic matches. He retired on 2007 after 30 years of career. After retiring from active competition he continued as trainer and referee. He trains new generations of wrestlers in Gimnasio Nuevos Valores.
