CMLL Costa Rica is a lucha libre promotion based in Costa Rica, billed as a subsidiary of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

In 2014 Escualo and Ares created this lucha promotion following an agreement with AULL. On March 22, 2014 would be the date that was held the first event of AULL Costa Rica; since then they began to hold events on a monthly basis.

On November 18, 2014, officially announced the name change of AULL Costa Rica for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Costa Rica (CMLL Costa Rica). This was explained as a part of an agreement made with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. CMLL Costa Rica uses the name modified versions of the logos of CMLL. CMLL hasn't publicly acknowledged the relationship with the company (something they've done with REINA, NJPW and others in the past), while CMLL Costa Rica does push CMLL events. It's a little unclear if the promotions actually have an agreement or if the Costa Rica group is simply using the name.

Since the name change, CMLL and USA independent wrestlers have appeared in Costa Rica, including Estrellita, Mr. Niebla, Puma King, Shocker, Titan, Jay Lethal & Matt Sydal.
