Began as a wrestler in Xalapa; some bios have him debuting as a professional in 1960. Worked his way up through Arena Coliseo Guadalajara in the early portion of the decade to a Mexico City regular by mid of the decade. Match with [[Rene Guajarado]] in 1967 was called one of the best of th year. Worked main events by 1968 and seemed groomed to be a star for the following decade and was a particular favorite of Lucha Libre magazine. Shot outside of a nightclub on July 14, 1968 by alleged gangster Rafael Paredas Madriles and passed away the following Wednesday at 2:55 am.
