Current Champions
The current champions are Joe Lider & Vampiro Canadiense. They defeated former champions Chessman & Abyss in San Luis Potosi during Heroes Inmortales VI on October 7, 2012.
History of Championship
The AAA World Tag Team Championship were introduced in 2007. It is not to be confused with the earlier AAA/IWC World Tag Team Championship. The two are generally considered unrelated from one another and have no shared history, but the early AAA title is sometimes referred to as "AAA Tag Team Championship."
6. NOAH's Atsushi Aoki & Go Shiozaki won the championship on May 23, 2010, defeating fellow NOAH duo Takeshi Morishima & Taiji Ishimori on a NOAH show.
