Despite leaving AAA, Cometa and Pegasso took the name of their old unit (Real Fuerza Aérea AAA) with them to the independent scene in 2008. After a few months on the indies, they were brought in to CMLL and teased called themselves Real Fuerza Aérea CMLL (very much displeasing AAA and their former partners) but have sense dropped the name.
