Puño de Hierro applying this hold to Jack Veneno.

A simple hold: the user applies pressure around his opponent's lower back. Typically used by heavyweights, and has been seen used by men like Mil Máscaras (who also used the inverted version) and Tinieblas. Relatively rare in the lucha sphere. It was originally more common in the US; however, it has declined even there due to its common association with immobile big men who work slow, boring matches. On a completely unrelated note, El Elegido uses this as his signature hold.
