El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos hosted an eight wrestler, multi-week tournament for a shot at Dr. Wagner's Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship. Wagner won the championship while working for EMLL, then kept it as he moved to Promociones Mora. The two groups began to work together in 1980. This tournament took place exclusively on Mora shows while including four wrestlers from each group.
