CMLL Universal Women's Championship
The CMLL Universal Women's Championship is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). It was established in 2019 as the female version of the CMLL Universal Championship. The winner of the tournament is awarded with a title shot at CMLL World Women's Championship against then champion (in case the current champion had been eliminated from the tournament in a prior round). The winner also will be chosed as a standard-bearer for Mexican team at following CMLL International Gran Prix.

The 2019 tournament was the first edition of the CMLL Universal Women's Championship. It was run from August 2 to August 16, 2019. With her victory, Dalis La Caribeña earned a title shot at Marcela's CMLL World Women's Championship in a near future. However, Marcela was pulled out of the match due to an injury; instead Metálica was forced to defend her Mexican National Women's Championship versus Dalis La Caribeña.
