Lucha Libre USA Heavyweight Tournament, 2010

On the premiere of Lucha Libre USA, a tournament announced to decide a heavyweight champion. The tournament was said to include eight men, but those included and the future matchups were kept silent. The first round matches all took place during the first season of the show

Semifinals/Finals (Take A)

Shows on August 28 (Bojangles Coliseum, Charlotte, NC) and September 9 (Whataburger Field, Corpus Christi, Texas) appeared to have been scheduled to be TV tapings, but the TV taping portion of the shows were canceled early. The shows themselves took place, and the scheduled semifinals and finals matches took place as if normal.

Final (Take B)

The promotion started running shows solely in Albuquerque, New Mexico in December 2010, resuming TV tapings at that time. The previous tournament semifinals/finals were ignored, and the four first round met in a decision match.
