Notes
Veteran luchador rudo, he was born in Puebla, Puebla; but he is mistakenly billed from Orizaba Veracruz. Debuted on January 6, 1970 as Saeta Jalisciense. In a local show Chamaco Richard could not attend the event. The promoter saw a resemblance between the young Andres Solano and Richard. For that reason the promoter told him to take that missing spot as Chamaco Richard. On the following date he was renamed as Chamaco Richardi, a name that he would keep for about 12 years.
He was thinking on changing his ring name, because sooner or later he would not be a chamaco (boy) for life. He was looking for something more appropiate. One day he asked advise from Ray Mendoza who sugggested the name of Ray Richard. Nicknamed "Chicanita" by Rene Guajardo and Karloff Lagarde due to his resemblance with Sangre Chicana.
