Dragón Chino was a famous heel and legend of South American Wrestling (especially in Venezuela). As part of his gimmick, Dragón Chino soured lemon juice in the eyes of his rivals wrestlers during wrestling matches. He faced world class wrestlers like Bassil Batah, Primo Carnera, Bruno Sammartino, Antonino Rocca, and Ling Sung, among other.

In Bolivia the fans wanted it to kill, the soldiers of that country had to protect him from angry fans.

Dragón Chino did his way to the ring accompanied by beautiful assistant Lady Dragon. He wrestled twice world title matches, one against Bassil Batah and the other versus the WWF world heavyweight champion Bruno Sammartino.

In an interview when he was asked about his match with the WWF Champion Bruno Sammartino, Dragón Chino answered: "Sammartino especially came to Caracas to fight with me"
