CMLL World Trios Tournament

CMLL ran two title shot tournaments for the CMLL World Trios Championship in 2002

• 1st Tournament, March - won by Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero and Tarzan Boy
• 2nd Tournament, November - won by Dr. Wagner Jr., Black Tiger III and Apolo Dantes

In both cases, the champions retained their titles.
