Upon his return he took on the Tigre Blanco persona and actually received a somewhat decent push into semi-main events and main events on smaller shows. Disapeared in the summer of 1998 with some believing he became one of the AAA versions of Mascara Sagrada although that was never proven. Others have claimed he retired.
