Double checking the coverage at the time, the Death Squad/Official match was for ONLY the IWRG Titles; the local ones were not on the line. Plus, the reports on the seven and eight defenses have those labels clearly as 7 and 8 and adding the Death Squad/Officials match would mess those numbers off. It probably is a Freelance+2 match, but just missing the date. --[[User:Nkhan|thecubsfan]] 20:16, 4 November 2008 (UTC) |

Did we miss Los Oficiales winning the vacant straps?

Those are the Mexico State Trios titles, not these ones. --thecubsfan 00:44, 19 January 2008 (EST)
They're one and the same. Like if you said Brazo De Oro just won the State of Mexico Welterweight Title, it'd be the Distrito Federal Welterweight Title. Pictures show it's the same belts as well. I remember reading something about a match for the vacant belts with the Japanese team but I gotta look it up.--Robert 01:17, 19 January 2008 (EST)
SuperLuchas lists the marked defense as the 7th. Problem is, I only see five of them before hand. I'm sure there is another one, just have no idea where it fits in. Any idea? --thecubsfan 06:28, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm... when they won the IWRG Trios belts on 9/28 should probably be considered a defense since their titles were on the line too, no?--Robert 07:34, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
