Biography
IWRG, Grupo Internacional Revolucion, is a promotion based in Naucalpan. They're an independent group with their own championships and television show and share talent with CMLL. IWRG was started in 1996 and is owned by Adolfo Moreno. Moreno had previously run in the arena (and the arena previous to Arena Naucalpan being built), and IWRG was a rebranding of the promotion and the belts.
The abbreviation IWRG comes from the English version of the promotion name, International Wrestling Revolution Group.
IWRG currently promotes events in Arena Naucalpan and other smaller arenas in the area.
