This is the fourth AAA Lucha Libre World Cup, which took place on March 19, 2023. The tournament has returned to being between trios rather than tag teams, as was in 2017. This tournament features representatives from Nacion Lucha Libre, All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, Dragon Gate, Qatar Pro Wrestling, OZ Academy, and various indies.
