Introduced to EMLL in June 1974 as Los Angeles based wrestler of Mexican heritage. El Solitario left EMLL shortly prior. Superstar coming in as a new masked man pushed straight to the top came off as an intended replacement. It's unclear if a new great star was actually the idea, but the fans didn't accept him and he was unmasked within weeks.
