The UWA World Middleweight Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted, regulated, and defended in Monterrey. It shouldn't be confused with the official UWA championship.
Current Champion
Charles Lucero is the current champion. He defeated Silver Star on September 5, 2015 at Gimnasio Factores Mutuos in Monterrey, Nuevo León to win the championship.
History of Championship
Monterrey championship defended in Monterrey by Silver Star. Over the last 10 years, Silver Star has won and lost the title in several times against regular opponents such the likes of Charles Lucero and Tigre Universitario. This title is regularly confused with UWF World Middleweight Championship. The championship appears to have not any relation with original UWA World Middleweight Championship or the Universal Wrestling Association.
