Notes
Genaro Contreras was an old style worker and perhaps the most well know "arenas chicas" indy luchador in the 70s and 80s. Because his stiff style, he don't received much attention from EMLL, so he decided to promote his own shows, traveling across many small cities in Estado de Mexico, like the auditorios municipales of San Cristobal Ecatepec and San Francisco Chilpan, and the small Arena Tultepec in Tultepec. Almost every show was headlined by Genaro Contreras and Genaro Contreras Jr. versus the rudos. In those venues, Contreras was a bigger hero than Santo.
Much of the information in his profile and lucha de apuestas record is from Teddy Baños article, published in Super Luchas #357
