Lucha libre, video game and WWE Cruiserweight Division fan since a boy, Sonico enrolled in the school of Campeões do Ringue (now known as BWF - Brazilian Wrestling Federation) at 17; The school had just been a few blocks from his house, but he had not known about it until then. Sonico preserved throug the tough training and made his debut in 2005. In 2011 became the first ever Rei do Ringue Champion in BWF at Virada Cultural, and on the 2012`s edition of Virada Cultural lost his title to Zumbi.
