The XNL World Championship is a professional wrestling title promoted by Xplosion Nacional de Lucha Libre of Chile. Regularly is defended in Teatro Novedades.
Current Champion
Super Crazy is the current champion. He defeated Giger and Xtra Large in December 12, 2010 in Teatro Novedades of Santiago, Chile.
History of Championship
In the second show of XNL held in August 29, 2010, began the tournament to crown the initial champion of the promotion. Crazy Sid and Katastrofe are the finalist to the first eliminatory, taking as winner KTF. The second eliminatory was realized in September 12, taking as finalist Castigador and Xtra Large, which went to the final and fight with Katastrofe by the gold of Xplosion Nacional de Lucha Libre.
The final of the tournament was held in the event "XNL INDEPENDENCIA: Vencer o Morir" in September 26, 2010, resulting the winner Xtra Large and became the first champion of XNL. In "XNL Desastre Total", Xtra Large lost the title with Super Crazy, sending the championship to Mexico, becoming so in the first international wrestler to held this title.
XNL announce in March 13, 2011 through his official website (www.xnl.cl) that the title is renamed as XNL World Championship, because the prestigious that Super Crazy was giving internationally.
