Ummm...the 12/4/07 defense that was just added for Averno against Vaneglis & Mistico, I didn't think Averno actually defended his title because he managed to gain the first pinfall, thus allowing him to not actually put his title on the line. Am I wrong? --[[User:JT179|JT179]] 07:16, 4 January 2009 (UTC) | Ummm...the 12/4/07 defense that was just added for Averno against Vaneglis & Mistico, I didn't think Averno actually defended his title because he managed to gain the first pinfall, thus allowing him to not actually put his title on the line. You have a point. It's a tough call. One can either look at it as Averno won the three-way and thus avoided putting his title on the line or Averno successfully defended his belt since it was dubbed a title vs title vs title match.--[[User:Robert|Robert]] 08:03, 4 January 2009 (UTC) |

I'm presuming the 1990.01.12 title match did happen, but it's just a title defense instead of a title change. Not 100% sure, but it'd be hard to come up with it from nowhere. --thecubsfan 05:21, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
I totally endorse what you're doing, in listing the announced/reported defense number where known and conflicting. More info is better - it lets us know what we're missing, and it reminds everyone else that we are missing plenty. Thanks. --thecubsfan 06:13, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
