Los Guerreros Del Futuro was created in 1992 by the CMLL promotion. They were unmasked veterans put under masks in order to (hopefully) rejuvinate their careers. The original idea was for a "Good, Bad, Ugly" unit before settling on the future concept.
- Damian El Guerrero (ex-Tierra, Viento y Fuego)
- Guerrero Del Futuro (ex-Jose Luis Feliciano)
- Guerrero Maya (ex-Black Terry)
This is essentially Los Teremarios with Damian el Guerrero taking the spot previously occupied by Shu el Guerrero or Lobo Rubio. The trio ended up just being used as a mid-card group but they had a pretty long run by group standards and lasted until the fall of 1996, when Guerrero Maya/Black Terry left CMLL and is said to have moved to Guadalajara for a time. The other two characters hung around in preliminary CMLL matches until the 2000s, with Guerrero del Futuro moving into a backstage role.
The masked Guerrero Maya character would briefly return to introduce Guerrero Maya Jr.. Black Terry never lost his mask as Guerrero Maya, but has publically acknowledged he doing the character and that he and Maya Jr. are not actually related.
