Leo Lopez was born on May 20th, 1935 in Leon, Mexico. He debuted at the late age of 22 by lucha libre standards.
He had rivalries in the 1970's and 1980's that resulted in apuestas matches. While he suffered losses of his hair in various bouts against lucha legends El Rostro, Agente X (twice) and Mr. Tempest on July 29th, 1972, he continued on. He and Manuel Robles took on El Cobarde and El Jalisco I in a mask vs hair match, but were unsuccessful.
