NJPW LA Dojo trainee who came to CMLL as a rudo in 2006, but proved popular and became a tecnico in 2007. Left for AAA in late 2008 due to lack of progress in CMLL and found more championship success. Stayed until 2010, eventually ending up in WWE's developmental system. Never made the WWE roster, but went to NJPW for a successful return. Left NJPW and wrestling in early 2015, though there are rumors he could return in 2016.
