| This championship was opened on [[August 12]], [[2010]]. After years of [[NWA]] asking for the championship to be returned, CMLL decided to retire the the NWA championships, replacing them with CMLL Historic championships of the same weight class. The previous champions were given new belts, making [[El Averno]] the first champion.
