The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship was created as a US based lesser weight title, similiar to the Light Heavyweight and Middleweight championships in Mexico. It has no signficant history in Mexico, except for the occasional wrestler who's once been in Mexico and once won this title.
It was also part of the J-Crown Octuple Championships
