Came out of the same New Japan trainee class as Tanahashi and Shibata, debuting on the exact same day. Obviously he never became the same level of star as the other two, mostly due to being much less interesting. His Mexican run was in 2002 with CMLL, even getting him an appearance on the Arena Mexico 46th Anniversary show.
