The first Tigre de Bengala debuted under the name of Bengala III, as the partner of [[Bengala I]]. Some fans confused him with [[Bengala II]] (Gaston del Valle), who had passed away on the [[September 19]], [[1985]] due to the great earthquake. Tigre de Bengala I lost the title AWWA Middle Title in Juarez with [[Ari Romero]], so he clearly was not the one who passed away. Tigre de Bengala I later retired suddenly due to personal issues and is believed to have moved to Juarez.


In local arenas, Tigre de Bengala formed part of a trio with [[Fray Tormenta]] and [[Aguila del America]]. His parnter Tigre de Bengala III would late become [[Super Pinocho]].
