Notes

Jeque was an early match rudo on CMLL cards in the 90s and 00s. Prior to that, he wrestled as Kundra, a tecnico in UWA and CMLL. He got his start in the rings of Arena Naucalpan.

Jeque disappeared for a short time at the end of 2006, but returned in early 2007. He quickly feuding with Stuka Jr., leading to their mask match. Stuka had faced and defeated similiar long time early match luchador Flecha II the year prior, and repeated the task by defeating unmasking Jeque in their match. The match is memorable for referee Tiger Hispano counting Jeque down for a three count in the deciding fall, despite Jeque clearly kicking out at two. It seemed like a mistake by the referee, who may have known who was to win the match but mistaken when it came. Both luchdors continued wrestling for a bit before the referee put a stop to it.

Jeque subsequently popped up in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, losing apuesta matches to youngsters as well. Jeque remains semi-active at smaller arenas around Mexico City, most often at tiny Coliseo Coacalco.

Though he wears a Star of David on his chest, Jeque is Christian. In a July 16th 1992 interview, Jeque told Super Luchas that he worked as a driving instructor when not in the ring. He and his wife currently run a quesadilla stand next to Arena Naucalpan.
