Told Luchas 2000 he was originally supposed to be Rey Cometa, but personal reasons caused plans to changed, and he returned home for a while before resuming his career. Working in the indies and Martha Villalobos's shows from 2006 to 2008, but was unhappy there. Started training with CMLL, but suffered a knee injury and lost two years. Returned in 2010.
