Multifacético started in IWRG in 2007 and shooted up the cards at a hurried pace. He was almost immediately pushed as the new greatest high flying tecnico as IWRG.

It takes a great wrestler not to draw ire from long term fans when they leapfrog over more established (and often more deserving) wrestler like Multifacético did. Multifacético stumbled in the ring, grew a rep for accidentally injuring his opponents, and the fans who were supposed to be blown away by his skill ended up turning on him instead. Multifacético is now a reviled tecnico, booed by a significant segment of the fans. The fans have also taken to chanting his rudo opponents, firmly supporting Black Terry during their rivalry.

IWRG has chosen to either ignore or overpower the reaction, by giving Multifacético even bigger wins, add more fuel to the fire.

Disappeared from IWRG in April of 2009. Debuted in CMLL as part of the new Jr. luchadores, as Guerrero Maya Jr., billed as the son of the original Guerrero Maya.
