"When I was a 15 year old kid I was in awe of the image of the luchadores in Mexico. The colorful names, costumes, and masks were a powerful image for me at the time! I loved buying all the Mexican wrestling magazines, K.O., Box Y Lucha, and Lucha Libre were the big three back then. Many years later I was excited to grace the cover of Lucha Libre magazine, once as Bill Anderson (with Blond Hair), and twice as the masked American Mercenaries. It was a great thrill!
My wrestling in Mexico began in 1982, and ended around 1998. During this time I worked for various promoters. My favorite was Benjamin Mora! He was the owner of the W.W.A. (World Wrestling Association). I was the W.W.A. World Heavyweight Champion in 1986. Then in 1989 I wore the Mercenary mask with partners Tim Patterson and the late great Louie Spicolli. We set Mexico on fire and quickly won the W.W.A. World Trios Championship and defended those belts for 3 years against all the greats of Mexico. During my years south of the border, I wrestled all the legends of Mexico, men like: Mil Mascaras, El Sicodelico, Dos Caras, Rayo De Jalisco Sr. & Jr., Atlantis, Fishman, Konnan, Rey Misterio Jr. & Sr., El Cobarde, Los Villanos, Los Brazos, Halcon 78, Hurican Ramirez, El Hijo Del Santo, Eddie Guerrero, Perro Aguayo, El Monarca, Cien Caras, El Fantasma, Angel Blanco, Dr. Wagner, Septembre Negro, Pirata Morgan, El Gigante Blanco, Super Muneco, and countless others too numerous to mention.
I will always love my time in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and all of the border towns.
