Was born in Chicago, but grew up in Mexico City, watching the likes of Tinieblas wrestle. Teamed with Sami Callihan for AULL shows. Worked for AAA, eventually becoming the protégé of Octagón as Octagón Jr. Though this would only last a few months.
In May 2013 signed a developmental contract with WWE and became Kalisto. Formed a team with Sin Cara II called the Lucha Dragons. In Septemebr 2014 they captured the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship. Was then part of the Lucha House Party trio with Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik, but never got a serious push in this role, despite promising to "make a good lucha thing" in a very ill-advised English promo. Left in 2021 with his stablemates and now works pretty much all over the world.
