Video games fan and like any dreamer boy, Sonico pretended to be practicing the art of professional wrestling since his childhood, and many times played fighting with friends and relatives, especially his brother who was as fanatic about it as he.
Lucha libre, video game and WWE Cruiserweight Division fan since a boy, Sonico enrolled in the school of Campeões do Ringue (now known as BWF - Brazilian Wrestling Federation) at 17; The school was always just a few blocks from his house but he had not known about it until then. Sonico preserved through the tough training and made his debut in 2005. In 2011 became the first ever Rei do Ringue Champion in BWF at Virada Cultural, and on the 2012 edition of the same event he lost his title to Zumbi.
At the age of 13 he trained Full Contact until the blue band. By this time he already started self backyard pro wrestling training inspired in his heroes form WWF/E Cruiserweight Division. At the age of 17 has been accompanied by some friends to the wrestling school of Bob Jr`s company, known nationally as Campeões do Ringue (now a days known as BWF - Brazilian Wrestling Federation), which a few blocks away from his residence, but he had no knowledge of it`s existence. Sonico's uncle had trained for many years with Bob Leo, Bob Jr's father, but did not lead to further career, the reason why he had never mentioned anything about the school.
At first the training was heavy and tiring for all teenagers at the time without any physical preparation, but the new group that was formed there, trained by Bob Jr with the assistance of idols of the old guard and new generation of national pro wrestling, like Caipira Don Afonso, Indio Comanche, Jeca Tatu Cardoso, Vingador, Xandão, Brutus, Tony Smith, Mr Argentina, Nino Mercury, Bob Leo, among others, continued with perseverance and even with turnover of students, arrival and departure of friends who came to train and gave up, Sonico was present in all classes chasing his dream.
With time and hard training, athlete and character were formed, and under the care and support of all professionals involved in BWF, Sonico today have his place guaranteed in the company for witch he has enormous respect and dedication.
