Youth wrestling welterweight champion (lucha olimpica) in 1928. Won 52 straight weeks in 1937. Debuted in Mexico City in 1939. (Bio says he also debuted in 1939, appears to be a typo from narrative.) Was an avid hunter/fisher, and was shot in the knee in a hunting accident in 1940. He spent the next year inactive, vacated the title, but worked hard to get back into sports. Arreola returned briefly to Mexico City in 1943 before retiring.
