UWE (Universal Wrestling Entertainment) is an independent promotion ran by Hector Guzman (also owner of AULL) a tribute to the old El Toreo promotion & wrestlers. The cards for UWE were made up of wrestlers from that era in the late 70's-80's, the prime of El Toreo venue. UWE shows took place at Arena Lopez Mateos, home to all Guzman's shows.
